What is the total duration of the training?

The Midwifery program lasts 3 years (6 semesters). It includes theoretical courses, laboratory practical work and clinical internships in maternity wards. The diploma is recognized by the Moroccan State.

Where do practical internships take place?

Our internships take place in public hospital maternity wards and partner private clinics in the region. You benefit from supervision by experienced midwives throughout your training.

Is the diploma internationally recognized?

The Moroccan State Midwife diploma is recognized in several Arab and African countries. To practice in Europe or North America, equivalencies may be required depending on the country.

Can I work during my studies?

The training is intensive and requires significant personal investment. We advise against working simultaneously, especially in the 2nd and 3rd year when internships are numerous. However, arrangements can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Are there scholarships available?

IMTA offers payment plans adapted to each situation. We also work with financing organizations that can support deserving students. Contact our admissions office for more information.

What is the exam success rate?
